Books have been a part of my life back since my first favorite book, Nurse Nancy. Nancy was my first star in my list of unforgettable characters. My daddy would come in late from work each night from the time I was little, wake me, and read me a book to put me back to sleep. Nancy was my favorite and I asked for it each night. Tired and hungry, my daddy knew he was creating a book lover. And he did.
