MY new book club started on Tuesday night. It was fabulous. Two friends and one of my daughters broke into the book with me. We explored the Huger Games this week. I am sure the author had not one plan in her head the depth her book would hold in our hands. We compared and pulled things as far back as Shakespeare.
One of our group has cancer and he was the most enlightening of us all. We explored the characters and only up through chapter 7 on our first night. One of our members needed to finish the book before we continued. We plan to meet again in two weeks and finish this book and begin our next. Next time I think I shall write in my journal our thoughts so when I get home my blog will be a clearer picture and my thoughts can wrap around what we discuss.
