Cold Fire

Koontz threw me a curve with this novel. Jim Ironheart was a character who at first I admired and thought moved with a devotion to others and to God. Come to find out he moved simply because he had built walls around his pain and cast off all memories that were accurate to build a life of his own through created memories.
